DSP Engineer
Details
  • Knowledge of testing and simulation in audio/acoustic setting (MatLab)
  • Experience in real life implementation of DSP on physical product
    • DSP: Equalization, Synchronization, Echo Cancellation, Jitter & Wander analysis, Sampling, AGC, Filter Design, PAM, QAM, DMT, OFDM, OFDMA, MIMO, Kalman Filter
  • Acoustic and/or Audio design with digital signals, RF and Low Power Management
  • Development and architecture of acoustic and audio solutions
  • Designing, testing and debugging for audio and acoustic quality
  • Measurement of electrical, acoustic and audio processes
  • Apply new audio technologies to current and future pipeline products
  • BA or Masters in Computer Science, Music, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering degree from top-tier university
Test Engineer
Details
  • Help lead Alpha’s QA efforts
  • Work with FW/HW/SW engineering teams during the development cycle to help create proper test coverage
  • Write, execute and update test cases
  • Bug isolation and writing detailed reports
  • Reproduce bugs reported and demo them to engineering teams both internally and at ODMs
  • Organize and keep detailed notes of all SW, HW and FW versions
  • Work with the Support team to diagnose any failures and be a technical resource for Support questions
    • Help develop FAQ sections for product on website
  • Verify new FW build functionality and quality before releasing it to internal teams
  • Firmware testing
  • Bluetooth testing
  • Mobile App (Andriod/iOS) Testing
Firmware engineer
Details
  • Participate in product design, development, verification, troubleshooting, and delivery of high quality embedded firmware.
  • Write product specifications and release documentation for all phases of product development from definition and design through implementation including:
    • Firmware and/or Unit Testing
    • Designing
    • Test Automation
    • Debugging
    • Reliability
    • Performance Analysis
  • Perform power consumption analysis and firmware development for low power battery operation
  • Experience in the development of low power peripheral usage for battery powered embedded systems
  • Experience in using the following communication protocols: SPI, USB, I2C and I2S
  • Comfortable in the implementation of custom bootloaders for firmware updates
  • Able to work independently on development tasks including design, development, debugging, documentation and validation
  • Experience with 3rd party development environments such as Keil or IAR.
  • Strong knowledge of C and C++ programming methodologies, compilers, State flow diagrams, Structure Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Experience in developing firmware for various sensing devices is a plus
  • Experience with NXP LPC, ST STM32F4, Cirrus Logic Audio processors or Broadcom WIFI/BT chipsets is a plus
