How to connect Bose wired headphones to PC?

In this section, we will take a look at the process of connecting Bose wired headphones to a PC. This method is going to be common for both Windows and Mac devices.

Even if you have Bose wireless headphones, you can connect them using a cable. The cable can either be a typical aux cable or even a USB cable.

A wired connection can come in real handy when your PC doesn’t have Bluetooth or your Bose headphones have run out of juice.

Most Bose headphones come with an aux/USB cable in the box. If you don’t have it, check out these links to buy a new one for yourself:

  1. Aux cables
  2. USB cables

The cables cost around $5-10, and you have to pick the one that your headphone supports.

After you get your hands on the cable, headphone, and the PC, simply plug one end of the aux/USB cable into the headphones and the other end into the audio input/USB port of your PC.

The recent versions of the Windows and Mac opening systems come with pre-installed drivers for wired headphones. So, you don’t have to worry about installing anything separately.

You can revisit Step 10 of ‘How to connect Bose wireless headphones to a Windows PC?’ section above or Step 8 of How to connect Bose wireless headphones to a Mac PC? Section to check out how to select the audio output device.

That’s pretty much all you need to do to connect Bose wired headphones to PC.
